The extension evaluates the current website in your browser. It does not send analysis reports or page content to KAN KAI WORKS, OpenAI, Google, or a third-party analytics service.
1. Responsible provider
KAN KAI WORKS, operated by Steffen Übelein. The official legal notice (Impressum) provides the complete business identification and address. For privacy inquiries and extension support use the public contact page.
2. Data analyzed
On opening the extension popup on a standard HTTP(S) page, the extension reads visible page text, headings, metadata, hyperlinks, image and favicon metadata, language declarations, and available JSON-LD to calculate a heuristic website-readiness report. The analysis runs locally in Chrome. It checks robots.txt on the inspected website to assess crawler access, using a browser request without cookies. Such a request may follow web-server redirects; external destinations are not scored.
3. Optional public website sample
Only after you click the separate website check and grant Chrome's domain permission does the extension request up to ten public HTML pages on the same origin. Requests omit credentials and form submissions, limit content and time, and do not automatically follow redirects. Login, account, checkout and private paths are excluded. The contacted website's server can nevertheless log requests and ordinary technical network information.
4. Local language preference and exported files
When you select a specific interface language, the extension stores that choice locally under a language-setting key in the extension's own local browser storage. It is not synchronized by this extension, shared with the website, or sent to KAN KAI WORKS. Using the automatic language option only queries Chrome's interface language. Reports and observed page content remain in popup memory until it is closed. JSON is saved to your device only after you press Export.
5. No advertising tracking or resale
The extension has no user accounts, advertising IDs, tracking pixels, telemetry endpoint, remote scoring API or sale of user data. Bundled language packs and calculation code run inside the extension. Opening the optional KAN KAI WORKS website link is a separate user action and follows that website's own privacy notice.
6. Controls and restrictions
You may deny or revoke optional website permissions in Chrome's extension settings. You can change the interface language or revert to automatic detection. Closing the popup discards its current analysis; downloads and any browser-managed settings can be deleted using your browser or operating system.
7. Limitations and contact
Scores are KAN KAI estimates rather than real AI rankings, citations or search indexing evidence. For extension questions, use the verified contact information on the developer's official website.
