2. Scope of this notice
This notice concerns the website preview of KAN KAI GAMES and the planned GAMES PASS. The preview page does not create a Hub account, conclude a subscription or manage game entitlements on a proprietary Hub server. Planned prices and subscription descriptions are not an operating purchase or account feature. Individual games have their own privacy notices.
3. Visiting the product page
When this website is requested, the web server processes technically necessary connection data, including IP address, request time, requested resource and browser/device information supplied by the browser. Hosting and support email are provided through goneo. Website processing, its purposes, retention criteria and your choices are described at https://kankaiworks.de/en/datenschutz/ . Merely viewing the product page does not create a game profile. This processing supports website delivery and security under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
4. Contact, purposes and legal bases
If you contact us, we process your sender address, message and voluntarily supplied information to respond. Contract-related enquiries rely on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; other enquiries on Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in a proper response. Retention required by law relies on Article 6(1)(c). Contact is optional. Visiting the preview does not result in automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
5. Retention and deletion
When you contact support@kankaiworks.de, we receive your sender address, message and the information you provide, including any files you choose to attach. We use these details to handle your request. Please send only information needed for that purpose. Our email service provider is goneo Internet GmbH, Dresdener Straße 18, 32423 Minden, Germany.
Support data must be deleted once no longer needed for the request. We have adopted an operational maximum of six calendar months after documented closure for ordinary completed support requests, including attachments. The organisational process for this new period is currently being put in place. Only individual records required by law or for specific legal claims are retained for the necessary period and purpose. This does not extend retention of all support requests. Please address access and deletion requests to support@kankaiworks.de.
6. External links and future app features
External websites or stores are opened when you choose their links; the respective provider’s notices then apply. A store link does not create a KAN KAI account. Before a public app, account or subscription service is introduced, the actual storage, recipients, services and deletion options will be described separately. This product-preview notice does not replace that future app notice.
7. Your rights and complaints
Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may withdraw consent at any time for the future, without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Contact support@kankaiworks.de. Mandatory additional rights under the law applicable where you live remain unaffected. We assess requests against the data actually held by us; we have no remote access to game saves held solely on your device.
