Play and local storage
PLOPP does not require a user account. The tested Android candidate contains the images, language texts, fonts, music and sound effects required for play in the app package. All 28 language profiles are included. Unchecked or missing local versions are replaced by the central English text; this is not a complete native translation of all profiles. The tested game core does not contain advertisements, in-app purchases, own cloud game scores or built-in analytics and crash reporting services.
Progress, bests, results, audio and humor preferences, and language are stored locally. Speed calibration uses valid hits and aggregated response/performance values during the first five levels. The maximum reached value and the fixation after level 5 remain part of the local score. Further existing local assistance values are also stored. The game core does not automatically transfer these values to KAN KAI WORKS.
Local storage is used to play, resume and restore your settings. Insofar as personal data are processed, the provision of the desired game functions is the basis according to Art. 6 para 1 letter b GDPR. There is no personal decision with legal or similar significant effect by adjusting the pace of play.
Local data is retained until the respective reset or deletion. The explicitly confirmed full restart erases game progress, bests and learned speed; selected settings are retained. App or browser data can be deleted via the device settings. PLOPP does not offer a score export or import in the menu in this version.
Operating system and device backup
The Android configuration allows a backup or device transfer controlled by the operating system. Depending on the provider and your settings, app data can be transferred to a security service. PLOPP does not operate its own backup server for this. Scope and recovery depends on the operating system, the backup provider and your device settings. Deleting local app data does not automatically delete a backup managed outside of the app.
External links, website and contact
The “More Games” view first shows locally stored information. Only an explicitly selected available store link opens the external store. For its processing, the information of the respective provider applies. PLOPP does not provide its own user accounts or personalized advertising profiles.
In the case of voluntary contact, we will receive the contact data and messages provided by you in order to process your request. Contract-related inquiries are processed according to Art. 6 para 1 letter b GDPR; other inquiries according to Art. 6 para 1 letter f GDPR due to the interest in the appropriate processing. Please do not send passwords or payment details.
When retrieving the web version, the providing web server technically receives, among other things, your IP address and requested resources. The local ALPHA test version is not a public Android data service. For public publisher websites and their contact processing, https://kankaiworks.de/datenschutz/ additionally apply. The public website is operated according to the provider information there at goneo Internet GmbH.
Authorised development tests
Separate, authorized ISI test runs can record game events, technical runtime data, input, and game screenshots and videos. The recorder is not shipped in the Android game package. The existing local game adapter does not upload such recordings itself. A development test is not an automatic end-user analysis.
Your rights
As far as personal data is processed, there are rights to access, rectification, deletion, restriction and data portability to the legal extent. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests under the legal conditions. You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority. The contact person for enquiries is the responsible person mentioned above. We do not have remote access to exclusively locally stored scores.
