2. Basic principles of the app
RAUS stores progress, best scores, settings and confirmed purchase receipts locally on this device. There is no RAUS account, proprietary analytics or telemetry platform, advertising or cloud save.
The full version is purchased through Google Play. Payment, purchase confirmation and restoration use Google Play. Google processes the necessary data under its privacy notices. RAUS does not send gameplay measurements or purchase receipts to a KAN KAI WORKS server.
Voluntary contact by email or through kankaiworks.de is covered by the privacy notices published there.
3. One-time in-app purchase / Google Play Billing
To verify, acknowledge and restore the full version, RAUS processes package and product identifiers, purchase state, purchase token, order identifier where available, purchase time, quantity, acknowledgement state and signed receipt supplied by Google Play. Payment instrument details and the Google account name are not supplied to the app. A verified receipt is encrypted in private app storage using Android Keystore. A successful new ownership query replaces this cache; a detected refund or revocation invalidates entitlement, cache and key. A previously verified entitlement may remain available offline. Updates retain local data; reinstalling restores the purchase through the same Google Play account, but not lost local progress. Android app backups are disabled. There is no separate purchase server or free-form purchase-token input.
4. Google Play Billing Library
The Google Play Billing Library sends encrypted diagnostic and usage data to Google: operations and outcomes, errors and timings, app and library versions, session and operation identifiers, Android version, device model, manufacturer, system build, language, country, time zone and network type. The receiving service also technically receives the IP address. This supports library analysis and reliability and may occur when connecting or checking existing purchases, without a new purchase. The app has no separate opt-out switch. This does not send gameplay moves or best scores to KAN KAI WORKS. RAUS does not access contacts, camera, microphone, advertising ID, IMEI or precise location. Google’s privacy notices govern its processing, retention, international transfers and deletion options.
5. In-app reviews through Google Play
After the first level win following a verified purchase, RAUS may request a voluntary Google Play review once. The occasion and request attempt are stored locally to prevent repeat requests. Google processes voluntary star ratings and review text; reviews are public in the store, or privately shared with the developer in a closed test. The app does not know whether a review was submitted. Reviews can be deleted through your Google Play or Google Account. The review button opens the store page.
6. RAUS · 6+
RAUS is intended for children aged six and above and adults. There are no user chats, public profiles, personalised advertising or randomly purchased items. Parents can use Google Play purchase authentication and family controls.
7. Legal bases
Where GDPR applies: Article 6(1)(b) for initiated purchases and their provision; (c) for statutory retention; (f) for necessary security and abuse prevention, subject to the respective legal requirements. Support information is used to answer voluntary enquiries. Payment is optional; without a verified purchase the full version remains locked. There is no own automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects.
8. Recipients and third-party providers
Google processes data for Google Play, Billing and voluntary reviews under its terms, including outside the EEA. For EEA users, Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland is generally responsible; Google explains transfer mechanisms including adequacy decisions and standard contractual clauses at the links below. KAN KAI WORKS may receive Google order information for accounting, refunds and support but does not sell personal data. External store, contact and website links open only on request and their respective notices apply. The general KAN KAI WORKS privacy policy additionally covers website access and support.
9. Retention and deletion
Locally stored app settings and cached purchase receipts generally remain on the device until the relevant app data are cleared or the app is uninstalled.
Google Play stores purchase and billing data according to its applicable rules. Where KAN KAI WORKS receives purchase or billing records subject to statutory retention obligations, these are retained only to the extent required by law and for the applicable periods.
10. Your rights
Where the statutory conditions are met, you have, in particular, rights to:

- erasure,
- restriction of processing,
- data portability,
- objection, and
- withdrawal of consent with effect for the future.

11. Right to complain
Data subjects may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA) is particularly competent for the registered location of KAN KAI WORKS.
12. Changes to this privacy policy
This privacy policy is updated if data processing in RAUS, the third-party providers used or legal requirements change materially. The version published at this URL at the relevant time is authoritative.
